02 · No walk-ins
Why there are no walk-ins
Two reasons, and both are practical.
There is a furnace, molten metal and a working floor in the building. An unannounced visitor is a safety problem in a way that is obvious to anyone who has stood near a pour.
And a visit is only worth making if something worth seeing is happening. Wax, shell, pour, chasing and patina are separate stages on separate days. Booked in advance, we can put you in the building on a day when the thing you actually want to see is running.
Scheduled visits are genuinely welcome. Write first.

Write before you travel. The address will get you to the building. It will not get you through the door, because visits are arranged in advance and only in advance.
04 · After casting
After the casting is finished
Collection or shipping, whichever suits. We can arrange shipping of any kind, domestic or international.
Prices are quoted Ex Works. In plain terms: the quoted price covers the finished piece at our gate here in Nakhon Pathom, and transport, insurance, export paperwork and any duty at the far end are quoted separately on top rather than folded into the casting price. You can ask us to arrange all of it, or hand collection to your own freight agent. The casting price does not change either way.
Tell us the delivery address while we are preparing the feasibility estimate and the transport gets quoted alongside the casting rather than as a surprise at the end.
A finished piece gets a final sealant over the cured patina, then a carton with bubble wrap. Larger pieces go into a wooden crate, and the timber is fumigated and stamped here at the foundry, certified for international shipping. For export orders we handle the documentation, working with an export partner.

Where is Deco Foundry located?
40/317 Moo 5, Ban Rai Road, Rai Khing, Sam Phran, Nakhon Pathom 73210, Thailand. That is roughly an hour west of central Bangkok.
Can I visit without an appointment?
No. Visits are by appointment only. There is a furnace and molten metal in the building, and a useful visit needs the right stage of the right job to be running while you are there.
What languages do you work in?
Thai and English.
How quickly do you reply?
We aim to reply to enquiries within a few working days. If a question needs an answer from the workshop floor rather than the office, it may take longer.
Do you ship, or do I have to collect the piece myself?
Either. We can arrange shipping of any kind, domestic or international, or you can collect from the workshop in Nakhon Pathom.
What does Ex Works mean on your quotation?
It means the quoted price covers the finished piece at our gate in Nakhon Pathom and stops there. Transport, insurance, export paperwork and any duty at the destination are quoted separately on top. You can ask us to arrange them or use your own freight agent, and the casting price is the same either way.
